and is giving a presentation on how young women can get published. She is

the author of “Blue Jean: What Young Women are Thinking, Saying and

The Miss Huntington Beach Scholarship Pageant 2002 will be held at

The Huntington Beach Art Center will host an exhibition titled,

“Centered on the Center, 2002” through Feb. 24. The show includes more

than 200 regional artists in a salon-style exhibition. Gallery hours are

noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; noon to 8 p.m. Thursday;
