CUTLINES

1. This necklace ($2,125), single-strand bracelet ($1,195) and

double-strand bracelet ($1,995) come from the Rigoletta Collection by

Fope. The 18-karat yellow gold necklace and bracelets use the traditional

Fope chain embellished by rondels of diamonds. Accompanying them are a

selection from the Hidalgo Collection of mix and match stackable rings.

An 18-karat gold and red enamel flower ring accented by bezeled diamonds

($700) is stacked with two 18-karat yellow gold rings ($200 each).

2. Elegant black and white is the theme for this set. An 18-karat

white gold neck wire holds a combination of black and white pave set

diamonds totaling 0.92 carats ($2,775). A coordinating black and white

diamond bangle is made of 18-karat white gold with diamonds totaling 1.70

carats ($3,650). But the real stunner is this flexible black and white

all-around diamond band created with 18-karat white gold and 4.20 carats

of diamonds ($10,450).

3. Unique colors make these creations stand out. A triple strand of

dramatic orange Mexican fire opal faceted beads, designed by Dianne, is

clasped with diamonds and 18-karat yellow gold ($2,995). Add to that with

this pendant/brooch by Mazza for Diannes Mark -- hand-carved flowers of

orange agate set with diamonds and a rare mandarin orange garnet in the

center -- and make a stunning statement ($3,995). Jewels by Joseph custom

designed the mandarin garnet ring set in 18-karat yellow gold, with

diamonds and blue sapphire. The ring, with its 11.28 carat garnet, costs

$34,500. The matching earrings are $8,950.

4. This lovely contemporary grouping comes from California designer

Peter Storm. The platinum and diamond wedding band has 0.71 carats of

princess-cut diamonds channel set point to point ($4,145). This 18-karat

white gold all-around bezel set diamond necklace ($6,680) holds 1.90

carats of sparkling diamonds. This matching bezel set bracelet with 0.78

carats of brilliant diamonds ($2,970) adds the finishing touch.

5. This set was meticulously handcrafted in Barcelona, Spain, and

drafted in the classic techniques of rich enamel work on 18-karat gold in the “plique a jour” method. Encrusted with diamonds with a pear shape

opal, this piece can be worn as a pendant or brooch ($7,160). The

sapphire and diamond enamel earrings are $6,250.

6. A magnificent collection of Tahitian South Sea pearls is

highlighted by a multicolored strand of pearls clasped with diamonds in

18-karat white gold ($21,450). Each pearl is a beauty on its own. A pair

of 11-millimeter Tahitian pearl studs ($1,395) add a dash of panache. A

unique custom-designed ring by Jewels by Joseph in 18-karat white gold

with a rare 14.8 millimeter South Sea pearl is highlighted by tapered

baguettes and bezeled round diamonds ($6,550).
