HBTV to host talks on ballot measures

Three televised discussions on March 5 ballot measures begin today on

the city’s government television station, HBTV-3.

Emmy Award-winning host Camille Dixon will moderate the three Hot

Topics programs that begin at 7 p.m. today and continue until March 4.

Hot Topics offers viewers a chance to see live discussion on issues

facing the city, in which opposing points of view are presented.

The three ballot measures that will be discussed will be Measure HH,

the proposed utility tax on the AES power plant; Measure W, which

pertains to land use at the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station; and

Measure EE, which deals with property rights.
