YEAR CHURCH ESTABLISHED: 1991

SERVICE TIMES: Worship is at 10:30 a.m.; Children’s ministries for

infantsthrough high school age meet concurrently in age-appropriate

groups. The young children have their own worship service. Junior and

senior high school students join the adults for worship up to the time of

the sermon then they leave for their Sunday school classes. Once a month

thechildren ages infant to 10 do their own church service, including

making the bulletins and preaching. Once a month the children also attend

service with the adults.

SIZE OF CONGREGATION: 125 in Sunday attendance

MAKEUP OF CONGREGATION: The medium age in the congregation is 29.

Members are mostly young couples and families.

CHILD CARE: Provided

TYPE OF WORSHIP: The service consists of praise music, the sermon,

Communion, prayer for the sick and a time for personal testimonies.

Baptisms are made once a month. There is a lot of interaction in the

church service.

VISITOR INFORMATION/HOSPITALITY: There is a welcome ministry of people

who look out for newcomers and help them find their way around.

CHURCH PROGRAMS: A Men’s Fellowship meets quarterly. A Women’s

Ministry offers mentoring relationships through small groups. The group

meets on Thursday mornings and evenings for Bible study and offers

retreats and other small group studies during the year. A Women’s Council

meets monthly to pray and oversee the Women’s Ministry. Home Fellowships

meet during the week for Bible study and fellowship.

OUTREACH PROGRAMS: The church offers a lot of outreach to children in

the immediate neighborhood and to the Hispanic community in Costa Mesa

and Huntington Beach. The congregation sponsors frequent concerts. The

church also sponsors carnival-style events in community parks. The

congregation provides help and resources to the City of Huntington Beach

each year for an annual Easter celebration in the park. The church has

received a certificate of appreciation for its participation. The

congregation also organizes trash pick up days for the city parks and

beaches.

MISSION STATEMENT: Our desire is to be a healthy loving church family

that worships God and reaches out to everyone, in every way, everyday

24/7.
