HUNTINGTON BEACH CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT WRAP-UP

WHAT HAPPENED:

The board approved an agreement with Seaview Little League for the use

of facilities at the District Education Center.

WHAT IT MEANS:

The agreement requires Seaview Little League to maintain the fields at

their expense throughout the year. The district will receive

approximately $2,000 per year to cover expenses and the Little League

will maintain the sprinkler systems on the baseball fields.

The playing fields at the District Education Center have been assigned

to Seaview Little League by the city for a number of years. The working

relationship has been good and the community has benefited from the

cooperative effort, the district reported.
