Four suspects were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly

weapon Sunday after allegedly firing shots at pedestrians from a car in

Downtown Huntington Beach.

The alleged shooting took place at 9:10 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block

of Walnut Avenue.

No one was injured or wounded when a passenger in the 1998 black

Lincoln Navigator allegedly fired at pedestrians with a handgun, police

said.

A witness gave police the Nevada license plate number of the car and

the direction the suspects were traveling in, said Sgt. Gary Meza.

Three of the four suspects in the vehicle were from Henderson, NV --

Griffin Hanna, Dominic Mincieli and Christopher Gervasi all 25-years-old.

The fourth person in the car was 24-year-old Natalie Banuelos.

All four were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Three of the four suspects were released on bail, police said.

Gervasi, who remains in jail has bail set at $50,000, Meza said.

The Huntington Beach Police Department alerted the California Highway

Patrol in Barstow that the car might be traveling its way.

The highway patrol located the car traveling northbound on Interstate

15 about 30 miles north of Barstow, Miller said.

“We had a feeling that [the suspects] were possibly heading back that

way,” Meza said. “The [highway patrol] recognized the plate and detained

them. They did a great job.”

Four Huntington Beach officers went to Barstow to take the suspects

into its custody.

The car was taken into custody by the highway patrol.

The Huntington Beach Police Department is conducting an investigation.
