Race for the Cure family night

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation based in Costa Mesa is

hosting its third annual Komen Race for the Cure Family Night at the

Arrowhead Pond featuring a National Hockey League match-up between the

Anaheim Mighty Ducks and the New Jersey Devils March 8.

The game begins at 7:35 p.m. Komen supporters, family and friends may

take advantage of reserved seating in the Terrace Concourse for $19.50. A

portion of all proceeds will support breast cancer research, education,

screening and treatment.

The event will help raise awareness of Komen’s major fund-raiser, Race

for the Cure at Fashion Island in Newport Beach Sept. 22. The foundation

will also hold its Second Annual Links to the Cure golf tournament May 6

in Fullerton.
