The Main Street Library Branch will accept book donations for the

Friends of Library book sales during normal library hours, 10 a.m. to 7

p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at 525 Main St.

Barnes and Noble Bookstore is inviting children of all ages to

participate in a Read Across America storytime dedicated to Dr. Suess

stories. The meeting will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 2 at the

SUNDAY

The Huntington Beach Playhouse will hold auditions for “A Man For All

Seasons” to be directed David Colwell. The tryouts are scheduled for 1

p.m. March 3 and 7 p.m. March 4 at the Huntington Beach Central Library

Theater, 7111 Talbert Ave. The play will be performed from April 26

through May 12.
