Boys tennis: Sage Hill drops opener
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO - The Sage Hill High boys tennis team won six
singles matches, but lost, 10-8, to nonleague host St. Margaret’s in a
season opener for both squads Thursday.
Coach A.G. Longoria’s Lightning received two singles victories each
from Anthony Milovantsev, John Hamilton and Eric Burton.

St. Margaret’s 10, Sage Hill 8
Singles - Milovantsev (SH) lost to Davidson, 4-6, def. Gerrante, 6-2,
def. Huang, 6-2; Hamilton (SH) lost, 4-6, won, 6-2, 6-1; Burton (SH)
lost, 5-7, won, 7-5, 6-1.
Doubles - Chin-Cordier (SH) lost to Waller-Dunlap, 3-6, def.
Boeckmann-Swecician, 6-0, def. Aschar-Kahlifa, 6-3; Myla-Livingston (SH)
lost, 0-6, 2-6, 6-7; Roeser-Baskin lost, 1-6, 0-6, won, 6-2.
