* Bear Street: Three men were reported in a park after dark in the

3100 block at 12:04 a.m. Friday.

* Santa Ana Avenue: Possession of a controlled substance and drug

paraphernalia was reported in the 1700 block at 1:51 a.m. Friday.

* San Carlos Lane: Possession of a controlled substance was reported

in the 2700 block at 4:41 a.m. Friday.

* West Wilson Street: An assault was reported in the 300 block at noon

Friday.

* Bristol Street: Grand theft of about $430 dollars was reported in

the 3300 block at 1:25 p.m. Friday.

* Bristol Street: Possession of burglary tools was reported in the

3300 block at 8:20 p.m. Friday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Prospect Street and West Coast Highway: Brandishing a weapon was

reported at the intersection at 10:29 p.m. Friday.

* McFadden Place: A person was reported to be carrying a concealed

weapon in the 100 block at 1:48 a.m. Saturday.

* Seashore Drive: A loud party was reported in the 4800 block at 2:49

a.m. Friday.

* Ocean Front East and A Street: A vehicle burglary was reported at

the intersection at 2:59 a.m. Saturday.

* Marcus Avenue: An animal cruelty was reported in the 3300 block at

9:38 a.m. Saturday.

* Baywood Drive: Illegal peddling was reported in the 100 block at

10:08 a.m. Saturday.
