Community college baseball: Lasers upset OCC

COSTA MESA - The Orange Coast College baseball team suffered a

surprising 5-4 Orange Empire Conference loss to visiting Irvine Valley

Tuesday.

The Pirates (13-4, 2-2 in the OEC) fell apart as they committed four

errors and failed to take advantage of bases loaded situations in the

eighth and ninth innings.

OCC returns to conference action Thursday at 2 p.m., at Riverside.
