Fox Home Entertainment has released three Shirley Temple movies, “Baby
Take a Bow,” “The Blue Bird” and “The Little Rebel” and will release
more, including “The Stowaway” and “Wee Willie Winkie” on March 12. The
movies are rated G and PG.

Columbia TriStar is releasing three movies by B-movie regular William
Castle on DVD. “Straight-Jacket” starring Joan Crawford is the story of a
woman confined to an asylum for 20 years after axing her husband and
mistress as witnessed by her daughter. While trying to renew a
relationship with the young woman, heads begin to roll again. Not rated.
“Homicidal” stars Glenn Corbett (“Route 66”) and Patricia Breslin
(“Peyton Place”). The story is set in the small town of Solvang where
there is a killer on the loose. Not rated. Also released will be
“Sardonicus” starring Oskar Homolka (“A Farewell to Arms”), Ronald Lewis
(“Helen of Troy”) and Audrey Dalton (“Titanic, 1953”). A greedy baron
intent on retrieving a winning lottery ticket unearths his father’s
corpse. He wins the lottery, but pays the price of having his face frozen
into a hideous grin. Not rated.
A special edition of Baz Luhrmann’s “Romeo and Juliet” starring
Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes will be released on DVD. The DVD will
include interviews with Luhrmann and the film’s stars, music videos and
commentaries. Rated PG-13. [Fox Home Entertainment]

“Donnie Darko” stars Jake Gyllenhaal (“October Sky,” “Bubble Boy”),
Drew Barrymore and Noah Wyle (“ER”). The movie is a dreamlike voyage into
the mind of a troubled adolescent battling his inner demons. Rated R.
