COSTA MESA - The Vanguard University men’s tennis team won five of

six singles matches to defeat nonconference foe Villanova, 7-2,

Wednesday. The Lions improved to 4-3.

Meanwhile, the Vanguard women lost to Westmont, 6-3, and fell to 3-3

on the season.
