Prep baseball: Lobos best Estancia

FOUNTAIN VALLEY - Jeremy Hauser had three hits and Estancia High

teammates J.B. Goff and Ryan Gleason each had two, but host Los Amigos

earned a 17-6 nonleague baseball victory Monday.

With two Estancia errors leading to five unearned runs, the Lobos

scored eight in the first to erase a 1-0 Estancia lead.

Los Amigos scored in each of the next four innings as outfielder

Gerardo Mercado belted two homers and a double to help drop the Eagles to

0-4-1.

Goff drove in a run and scored one, Hauser scored two runs and

Jermaine Snell had two RBIs for the Eagles.

Justin Lund had one hit and an RBI and Eric Scheafer added a hit for

the visitors.

The Eagles host Laguna Beach in the Pacific Coast League opener

Friday.
