Costa Mesa bank plans to expand

A Costa Mesa bank intends to establish a new branch office in La

Jolla.

Pacific Mercantile Bank of Costa Mesa will apply to the Federal

Reserve System for permission to establish a new branch office at 4225

Executive Square, Suite 150, in La Jolla.

The Federal Reserve considers a number of factors in deciding whether

to approve an application including a bank’s performance record in

meeting credit needs.

The public is invited to send written comments before March 30 to the

Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, 101 Market St., San Francisco,

Federal Reserve officials will consider comments and any requests for

a public meeting or formal hearing on the application if they receive

them.
