“The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame II”

will be released along with “Strictly Ballroom” and “Tall Guy” from Buena

Vista Home Entertainment.

“Donnie Darko” stars Jake Gyllenhaal (“October Sky,” “Bubble Boy”),

Drew Barrymore and Noah Wyle (“ER”). The movie is a dreamlike voyage into

the mind of a troubled adolescent battling his inner demons. Rated R.

Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie star in the unrated DVD version of

“Original Sin.” Directed by Michael Cristofer the movie is a retelling of

the 1969 film “Mississippi Mermaid.” The story is of a wealthy Cuban

coffee merchant who meets his bride for the first time when they are wed

and loses himself to her beauty. His new wife soon leaves his life in

ruins and him behind as she disappears with this money. The DVD includes

never-before seen footage and commentary by the director. Rated R. [MGM

Five new “Three Stooges” short films will be available on DVD. They

include “Three Little Beers,” “Three Smart Saps” and “Three Dark Horses.”
