WEATHER FORECAST

If you planned to spend your St. Patrick’s Day out in the California

sunshine, your luck has run out. Expect the clouds to stick around all

day, leaving the area with a high of 60 and a low of 44.

Information:o7 www.nws.noaa.govf7 .

BOATING FORECAST

A small craft advisory is in effect due, mostly, to wind conditions.

Close to shore, expect northwest winds of 15 to 25 knots in the

morning to kick up to 20 to 30 knots by the time night comes. Wind waves

will start out at 2 to 4 feet and build to 3 to 5 feet. A western swell

is expected at 5 to 8 feet.

Further out, west to northwest winds of 25 to 35 knots will help kick

up wind waves of 4 to 6 feet. A northwest swell of 10 to 12 feet is expected.

SURF

High wind conditions and so-so weather will most likely turn what

could have been a decent surfing day into so much mush. Go back to sleep.
