St. Wilfrid of York Episcopal Church in Huntington Beach is holding

Holy Week Festivities and Worship Opportunities. On Good Friday, March

29, it will have an interdenominational Memorial of the Passion and Death

at noon, followed by the Taize Devotions and Healing Service at 7:00 p.m.

On Holy Saturday, March 30, the Great Vigil will be at 7:00 p.m. On

Easter Sunday, March 31, the Festival Celebrations will be at 7:30, 8:45

and 11:00 a.m. with a special Children’s Easter Egg Hunt in the Park at

10:00 a.m.

The church will also hold a special interdenominational Good Friday

Service at noon on March 28. Participating in this time of reflection and

worship will be Christ Presbyterian Church, Fountain Valley United

Methodist Church, Lutheran Church of the Resurrection and Sts. Simon and

Jude Roman Catholic Church.

Calvary Baptist to hold Easter services

Calvary Baptist Church is holding Good Friday and Easter Sunday

celebrations. The church will share communion at 7 p.m. March 29. Sunday

service begins at 7:30 a.m. and will be followed by a complimentary

breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Regular service will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Nursery and children’s programs for 4- and 5-year-olds will be available.
