Indians blank A’s, 3-0

Garrett Shinn allowed only one hit to the A’s and the Indians

collected another victory in Majors Division play as they blanked the

A’s, 3-0, in Ocean View Little League action this week.

In addition to the one hit, Shinn struck out nine in four innings on

the mound. He also provided a key hit on offense.

Brian Cassidy relieved Shinn and went on to toss two scoreless

innings.

Other timely hits for the Indians were provided by Steven Murray and

Charlie Condron.

Andy Ragsdale pitched a solid game for the A’s.

Mariners 4, Astros 2

Cole Ticher delivered a three-run double, Cody Springer doubled and

Finn Jensen pitched three scoreless innings to lead the Mariners.

Yankees 7, Diamondbacks 3

The Yankees were led by Brian Roberts who pitched four scoreless

innings.

Matt Fetters twice doubled off the outfield wall to pace the

Diamondbacks.

MINOR A DIVISION

Mariners 5, Angels 4

Tyler Pagter’s two hits led the Mariners.

A’s 11, Giants 4

Andrew Bynur and Sean Guite combined for a strong pitching effort to

lead the A’s.

MINOR B DIVISION

Diamondbacks 8, Orioles 3

The Diamondbacks remained undefeated and retained first place with the

win.

Cardinals 16, Cubs 3

The victory by the red-hot Cardinals helped them keep pace with the

Diamondbacks in the race for first place.

A’s 6, Angels 3

Reds 10, Dodgers 7
