Community college baseball: Pirates pound Cabrillo, 11-1

Orange Coast College sophomores Jeremy Lahmann and Jake Garcia

blasted two home runs, while freshman Donny Murphy belted one to lead the

Pirates baseball team to an 11-1 victory over Cabrillo in the Sequoias

Tournament Thursday.

Lahmann sent away a three-run blast and a solo shot, Garcia picked up

a two-run home run and a solo, and Murphy also slammed a solo. The

Pirates (19-6) earned their fifth straight win, while collecting 14 hits.

OCC went on to play a second game into the night Thursday.
