A’s get another shutout win
Race Parmenter and Alex Barnes combined for a shutout against the
White Sox and the A’s blanked their second opponent in as many games with
a 2-0 victory in weekend Majors Division play.
Parmenter also had a big game offensively with a double and single, as
did teammate, Trevor Springman.
Barnes, Chris Ottens, Drew Duffy and Cody Moran also singled for the
A’s.
Chris Kindness, Michael Bogard, Kyle Shibel, Patrick Doran and Anthony
Vidal all singled for the White Sox.

A’s 4, Mets 0
Parmenter and Barnes teamed for their first no-hitter of the week by
holding the Mets to just two hits, a double by Huntington Hardesty and a
single by Ricky Marin.
Danny Watt, Chas Boule and Barnes each had hits and Drew Duffy scored
twice for the A’s.
Diamondbacks 9, Mariners 1
Devin Huskins went three for three with a double, scored three runs
and pitched a complete game and allowed the Mariners just two hits.
Cole Carden and Matt Reza both singled for the D-backs.
For the Mariners, Finau Fiaseu accounted for his team’s only hits with
a single and a solo home run.
