Sign up to begin for AYSO fall sessions

AYSO Region 55 (Huntington Beach) will hold three upcoming fall season

sign-up sessions for boys and girls ages 4 1/2 to 18, beginning Saturday

at Mesa View Middle School.

In addition to Saturday’s session, which will run from 9 a.m. to 1

p.m., future registration dates include May 4 and June 1. The cost per

player is $85 during the first two sign-up sessions and $90 per player at

the June 1 session.

Each player is required to bring proof of age.

Mesa View Middle School is at 17601 Avilla Lane in Huntington Beach.

Hit the road running for reading

Marine View Middle School will host its 6th annual Make Tracks for

Education 5K Run/Walk on April 21.

The 5K will take place along the beach path south of the Huntington

Beach Pier, at Beach Boulevard. The race will begin at 8 a.m. Funds

raised in this event will directly benefit the update of the library and

computer and media center at Marine View.
