WEATHER FORECAST
As has been the case quite a bit lately, the marine layer will help us
kick off the morning, but will burn off about noon for a mostly sunny
afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-60s in Newport-Mesa. Overnight lows
will be in the mid-50s.
Wednesday will be similar, though skies won’t be as sunny during the
afternoon. Thursday should be much sunnier and a bit warmer.

BOATING FORECAST
The westerly winds will blow their typical 10 to 15 knots in the inner
waters this afternoon, with 2-foot waves and a west swell of 2 to 4 feet.
Later, the winds will become northwesterly.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots, with
2-foot waves and a northwest swell of 4 to 6 feet. The winds will
increase overnight to 15 to 25 knots, with 2- to 4-foot waves. Such
conditions should continue into Wednesday and Thursday.
SURF
It should be decent today, with a combination of southwest and
northwest swells producing waves in the waist- to chest-high range.
Wednesday should be similar, but surf may increase a bit more Thursday.
