CdM wins, again

Nomads through the first-half of the Pacific Coast League golf

season, Corona del Mar wrapped up a 5-0 run through foreign territory

Tuesday as the Sea Kings reached the halfway point in their bid for a PCL

crown.

The Sea Kings, 9-2 overall, were paced by medalist Alex Chikovani, who

shot a 1-under 35 at Rancho San Joaquin Golf Club’s course over nine

holes en route to a 189-206 victory over Northwood.

Brad Chamberlin and Nick Sherman both came in with 37s and Dave Steiln

and Colby Hackett carded 40s for the Sea Kings, who will have the

additional benefit of their own course (Newport Beach Country Club) for

their final five league matches.
