Prep softball: CdM cruises to PCL win

CORONA DEL MAR - Corona del Mar High junior Alissa Zoelle struck

out six, walked one and allowed three hits to lead the Sea Kings to a 7-1

victory over visiting Laguna Beach, in a Pacific Coast League opener for

both teams Tuesday.

CdM freshman Heather Lohrman contributed two hits with a double and

one RBI, while senior Casey Bunney and juniors Lauren Jacobson and Amy

Tyson earned one RBI each.

The Sea Kings (4-4) will return to league action Thursday at 3:15

p.m., playing at Estancia.
