Five lawyers create Costa Mesa law firm

Five Orange County lawyers have have launched a new real estate and

business law firm.

Partners John Garrett, Marcello De Frenza, Henry Stiepel, Donald

Hickman and associate Daniel Cho formed Garrett DeFrenza Stiepel LLP in

Costa Mesa on March 1 after leaving Pillsbury Winthrop LLP, a

multinational law firm with an office in Orange County.

Garrett DeFrenza Stiepel specializes in real estate, tax and corporate

business matters. The areas of expertise include landlord and tenant

representation, real estate development, construction, joint ventures,

tax advice and planning.

The four partners have practiced together for 13 years.

De Frenza lives in Newport Coast and grew up in Newport Beach. He is a

member of the South Coast MetroAlliance in Costa Mesa.
