WEATHER FORECAST
Today will appear similar to the past week, with morning low clouds
and fog and afternoon partly sunny skies. Highs will border on both sides
of 70 in Newport-Mesa today. Lows will be in the mid-50s. Expect much of
the same into the weekend.

BOATING FORECAST
The westerly winds will blow their typical 10 to 15 knots in the inner
waters this afternoon today, with 2-foot waves and a west swell of 4 to 6
feet. The winds will become southeasterly this evening and will blow
about 10 knots, with 2-foot waves and a west swell of 4 to 6 feet once
again. Fog will roll in late.
Out farther, the northwesterly waves will blow 10 to 20 knots, with 2-
to 3-foot waves and a northwest swell of 5 to 8 feet. This evening, the
winds will ease a bit, and waves will subside to 2-foot waves. Fog will
roll in tonight.
SURF
Most waves will be in the waist- to chest-high today. Standout spots
will see head-highs. Expect much of the same Friday and Saturday as
another southwest swell rolls in. On Sunday, size will begin to decrease.
