Blackhawks roll to 8-2 victory

John Fortner came up with a big game offensively and the Blackhawks

rolled from the start in posting an 8-2 victory over the Team to Beat in

a Howe Division.

Fortner scored the Blackhawks’ first two goals, had an assist on his

team’s third goal, and finished the game with two goals and a pair of

assists.

Cody Charnell also scored twice, Taylor Fitzpatrick and Nicholas

Capriccio each scored once with an assist, Josh Wright scored once and

Bryan Paranal had one assist.

Kyle Morrill recorded 21 saves.

David Loy scored once with an assist to lead the Team to Beat, which

also received one goal from Nathaniel Jones and 22 saves by Steven

Maybrier.

In other games:

Predators 6, Red Wings 4

Jared Hackworth and Austin Inlow each scored twice, Maxwell Klasky

handed out two assists, Chaz Cameli and Michael Orozco each scored once,

Kyle Fiscus had an assist and Jeff Fuzzard had 20 saves to lead the

Predators.

Brock Ane scored twice, Justin Novakovich and Luke Hamagiwa each

scored once with an assist and Klaus Halvorson had 21 saves for the Red

Wings.

Vipers 4, Jets 3

Mike Ambrose netted two goals and goals went to Kyle Evans and Eric

Stoner. Justin Romers had an assist and Tyler Post posted 14 saves for

the Vipers.

Garrison Heather scored two of the Jets goals, Max Hassenpflug scored

the other goal, Alex Borcich and Sean Wing each had an assist and Ben

Hynes had nine saves.

The Good Team 7, Lightning 3

Six players got into the scoring act as The Good Team downed the

Lightning.

Timothy Hunt led the way with a pair of goals and an assist and Ryin

Amador, Matthew Erickson and Tyler Bales each scored once with an assist.

David Keller had one goal.

Michael Mowry recorded 11 saves.

For the Lightning, Nicholas Weldon scored once and had an assist,

Brett Shaver and Brad Janelli both scored, Dean Metherell had one assist

and James Durfour had 10 saves.

Hawks 4, Roller Rebels 2

The Hawks used a goal and an assist from Dimitri Coutsoyannopolus,

goals from Nathan Bergeron, Samantha Aker and Kyle McGeary, an assist

from Ben Piontkowski and 12 saves from Amy Zappen to get past the Roller

Rebels.

Tyler Bertrand and Brandon Weiss each scored, Cameron Weiss and Will

Chakalian each had an assist and Isaiah Jimenez came up with nine saves

to lead the Roller Rebels.
