A shopping benefit is happening this weekend at At-Ease in Fashion
Island. At-Ease will donate 10% of its sales to Children’s Hospital of
Orange County. The event will also include entertainment, special orders
and trunk shows. Today, members of the U.S. Olympic Sailing team will
sign autographs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. And, Bill Ficker, the winner of
America’s Cup 1968; Brad Avery, the director of the OCC School of
Seamanship; and yacht designer Gino Morelli will greet customers from 11
a.m. to 5 p.m. Sperry Topsider and Reyn Spooner are showing their latest
spring and summer lines. Tickets are selling for $5 or $20 for five to
win prizes that include four Helly Hansen jackets donated by Sperry
Topsider, two round-trip tickets to Hawaii, Robert Comstock leather
jackets and At-Ease gift certificates. Proceeds will also benefit CHOC.
The new Anne Fontaine Boutique will host an “evening of shopping and
cocktails” from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. During the reception, 20% of the
sales will go toward the Orange County affiliate of the Susan G. Komen
Breast Cancer Foundation. A new shirt dubbed “Susan,” a limited edition,
pale pink women’s shirt designed in honor of the foundation, will be on
sale during the event for $150. It’s a three-quarter-length stretch
poplin shirt that’s also available in black and white. Anne Fontaine is
an internationally known French designer. She’s most known for her
collection of white shirts. Her latest collection incorporates new
fabrics and styles, such as stretch denim with pleats and rosettes,

magazine will also be looking for “stylish girls and guys” to be
highlighted in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
