Boys golf: CdM takes cares of Mustangs

NEWPORT BEACH - The Corona del Mar High boys golf team punched in

another victory using a steady squad performance to defeat Pacific Coast

League foe Costa Mesa, 197-244, at Newport Beach Country Club Tuesday.

CdM junior Brad Chamberlin captured medalist honors, shooting 2-over

par 35, while junior Nick Sherman shot 38, sophomore Alex Chikovani 39,

sophomore Colby Hackett 30 and senior Ryan Lynch 43. The Sea Kings

improved to 14-2, 9-0 in the PCL.

Bryce Sheridan was the low man for the Mustangs with a 41, and Billy

Lund (46), Brian Beach (51), Mike Gardiner (51), Devon Stephens (55) also

scored for Costa Mesa (8-10, 0-8).
