Steve T. Tsai has joined the Laguna Beach-based law firm Levin &

Hawes. Tsai, a seven-year litigation veteran has chaired bench trials,

jury trials and arbitrations. He has also prosecuted and defended

trademark, trade secret, patent, copyright, unfair competition and

commercial actions. He is a member of the California State Bar, the

Orange County Patent Law Assn., the American Electronics Assn., the Assn.

for Corporate Growth and the Irvine Chamber of Commerce. Levin & Hawes is

an intellectual property firm with its primary focus on litigation.

Founded in 1996, the firm has 14 attorneys in Orange County and San

Diego. . . . Laguna Beach High School senior Brianna Ficcadenti will be

awarded the Rotary Special Achievement Award for the month of April at a

special luncheon in her honor. Among her many achievements, Brianna has

served on the Principals Advisory Council, as president of the Thespian

Society and has contributed 106 hours of community service. She has also

been active in the marching and jazz bands as well as acted in all the

plays produced during her four years at Laguna Beach High School. After

graduation she hopes to attend either UCLA or Columbia University.
