Arts to benefit from bakery opening
A grand opening for the new Champagne French Bakery Cafe at South
Coast Plaza will not only feature pastries and finger foods, but also a
show of arts from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Students from the Orange County High School of the Arts will perform
and display artwork for the opening.
When the first Champagne French Bakery Cafe was formed 15 years ago,
the high school also began its presence in Orange County.
The grand opening will include prizes and a portion of The Miss
Meringue Great American Scoop-Off Recipe Contest.
A $15 donation to benefit the high school will be accepted. The cafe
is located at South Coast Plaza’s Crate & Barrel wing.
