Wienerschnitzel now offers Italian sausage

Newport Beach-based Wienerschnitzel will spice up its menu by

introducing a new Italian sausage. The hot dog restaurant chain received

positive results from product testing conducted throughout Southern

California.

“Our new Italian sausage is fabulous,” said Tom Amberger, director of

marketing for Wienerschnitzel. “It has a spicy flavor that’s delicious,

and the grilled peppers and onions are the perfect topping.”

Wienerschnitzel will offer the new product for 99 cents until May 25.

Founded in 1961 with a single hot dog stand, the company has expanded

to serving more than 96 million hot dogs annually from more than 300

restaurants in 10 states.
