Mesa water district earns financial reporting award

Mesa Consolidated Water District received an award for outstanding

financial reporting for the second year in a row.

The district was honored with the Certificate Award for Financial

Reporting from the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers, an

organization that serves all municipal finance officers.

The award recognizes greatness in governmental accounting, financial

reporting and for meeting professional standards and criteria that

reflect a high level of quality.

Mesa Consolidated Water District Board of Directors expressed its

appreciation to staff members for their hard work regarding the

certificate. Directors said the water district will continue to provide a

variety of useful public information concerning its financial condition.
