Locals named to South All-Star team

Four players from three local high schools have been selected to play

for the South team in the 43rd annual Orange County North/South Prep

All-Star Football Game.

The four seniors making the 36-man South roster are offensive lineman

Ryan Keating (6-4, 290) and linebacker Jon Miller (6-1, 230) of Edison

High, running back Turril Engleman (6-0, 190) of Marina and defensive

lineman Brian Ruziecki of Huntington Beach.

The South squad will be coached by Mission Viejo’s Bob Johnson. Brea

Olinda’s Jon Looney will coach the North.

The 2002 game is scheduled for 7:15 p.m., July 12, at Orange Coast

College’s LeBard Stadium.
