Clinic sponsors day for women’s health

In celebration of National Women’s Health Week, the Laguna Beach

Community Clinic will hold its first annual Young Women’s Day. Attendees

can enjoy free health information, nutritional screening, make-overs by

Integrity Salon, mini-massages and stress reduction information.

“This is our way of reaching out to the young women of the community

and increasing their awareness of health issues,” said Rosann Volmert, a

doctor with the Laguna Beach Community Clinic.

Mexican restaurant Olamendi’s will provide food and gifts, and prizes

will be donated from Laguna Beach merchants.

The event will tale place from 1 to 5 p.m., May 11 at 362 3rd Street.

Parking is available across the street at the Laguna Presbyterian Church.
