High School Baseball: Peck perfect
Irvine - The Newport Harbor High bats went silent Tuesday night as
senior Woodbridge hurler Mike Peck threw a perfect game to defeat the

The Sailors finish the season (4-20, 0-16 in league).
Woodbridge (14-5, 12-3) scored one run in the fourth and two in the
fifth, off Sailor starter Ryan Torrey, all on RBI singles to stake Peck,
now 8-1, to a lead he wouldn’t relinquish.
Peck finished the night with 14 strikeouts and lowered his ERA to 1.18
in 77 innings this spring.
