Newport Beach residents Courtney, 7, and Ryan Brown, 5, adopted one of

the first hand-raised and bottle-fed kittens of the season, said DiAnna

Pfaff-Martin, founder of the Community Animal Network.

“This weekend, we will have eight kittens available to take home and a

beautiful, large declawed orange male cat,” she said. “The shelter is

still calling with mama cats and babies to be saved. Your participation

in fostering animals in your homes saves lives. Your dollars allow us to

continue rescuing and paying medical bills.”
