JBZ Architecture & Planning, based in Newport Beach, has unveiled its

designs for the exterior renovation of the Pacific Holiday Towers in Long

Beach.

The 17-story apartment property at 1900 Ocean Blvd. is owned by Lyon

Capital Ventures, also of Newport Beach, and projects that final exterior

and interior renovations will be completed this summer.

“The design for the Pacific Holiday Towers makes a dramatic statement

that reflects the uniqueness of the lifestyle residents enjoy here,” said

Eric Zuziak, AIA, principal of JBZ. “It’s an opportunity to have the best

of both worlds -- living right at the beach, but in a downtown

location.”The exterior renovation consists of an art deco-styled design

distinguished by classic motifs. The interior will continue the art deco

motifs and gain added luxury amenities, such as a fitness center,

business center, conference facility, and a new outdoor pool and paddle

tennis court.

JBZ is a full-service architectural and planning firm specializing in

affordable, senior, luxury and high-density housing, and it has received

many awards for design both from the community and building industry.
