WEATHER FORECAST
We’re warming up, ever so slightly. While the early morning clouds are
here again, the temperatures will be near 60 to start off the morning.
Winds in the afternoon will keep everything fairly mild, with most
parts of Newport-Mesa staying in the high 60s. Some spots near the
freeway will crack the 70 barrier.

BOATING FORECAST
A rough day is expected on both the inner and outer waters. Near shore
the winds will be near 20 knots with 3-foot waves and a southwest swell
of 3 to 5 feet.
The outer waters will experience winds of 30 knots, with stronger
gusts northwest of San Nicolas Island. The waves will be up to 5 feet on
a northwest swell of 8 to 11 feet.
SURF
The waves get a little bit more inconsistent as the swells fade.
Expect mainly waist- to chest-high surf. Our first real south swell is
poised on the horizon.
