Laguna Beach resident Susan Jacob was appointed to the County’s Mental

Health Board by Fifth District Supervisor Tom Wilson. He will replace

Maureen Kochen whose term recently expired. Jacob will serve for three

years in the position of mental health professional. . . . The Kyne

Dance Academy of Laguna Beach hosted 17 dance students from Everybody

Dance! on April 27. Everybody Dance! is a program that was started by

Liza Bercovici in honor of her daughter Gabriella, who was killed in a

bicycle accident. The dance program helps low-income students train in

dance. Later this summer, the Kyne Dance Academy will travel up to Los

Angeles for another day of dance and fun with the Everybody Dance!

program.
