Huntington Beach softball announces All-Star teams

Huntington Beach Girls Softball announced this week its 2002 All-Star

teams that will compete in postseason play.

Each of the five teams will play in a series of invitational

tournaments. The final event of the All-Star season is the Amateur

Softball Assn.’s District Tournament. The teams that finish in first and

second place in that tournament will advance to the state tournament,

where they will play for the right to qualify for the upcoming national

tournament.

Huntington Beach Girls Softball All-Star teams are as follows:

8 and Under Division: Jessica Amaral, Sarah Craig, Joelle Erickson,

Kathrynn Herman, Ariana Jones, Heather LaPier, Lauren Morey, Ashlyn

Pooler, Logan Springer, Jamie Sullivan, Miranda Tamayo and Sarah
