will be attending the College of Naval Command and Staff program in

Newport, Rhode Island, a multidisciplinary program designed for U.S.

at Cal State Long Beach has been awarded a $1,000 Roger F. Greaves

Scholarship for the 2002-03 academic year. . . . Dagmar Combs and Kay

Yamasaki of Huntington Beach have been inducted into the Iota Eta Chapter

of Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society of nursing at Cal

State Long Beach. . . . Air Force Airman Michael B. Danskin, son of Dan

Danskin of 9022 Carrolltown Drive, Huntington Beach and a 1998 Ocean View

High School graduate, has completed basic military training at Lackland

Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. . . .
