Listen to stories. “Some Enchanted Evening: A Concert of Stories on

Laughter, Love and Life” will be presented at Orange Coast Unitarian

Universalist Church at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature storytellers

Debra Olson Tolar, Dinae F. Wyzga and Linda King Pruitt. The church is at

SUNDAY

Give it up for Charity. The musical “Sweet Charity,” with a book by

Neil Simon, will run through June 30 at the Newport Theatre Arts Center,

2501 Cliff Drive, Newport Beach. Performances will be at 8 p.m. Thursday

MONDAY

Play with puppets. Children 3 to 7 are invited to participate in songs

and finger puppet plays at 7 p.m. at the Costa Mesa Library, 1855 Park

TUESDAY

Be a cool cat. Murray, the spoken word/garage jazz group, will perform

at 8 p.m. at the Gypsy Den Cafe as part of the Factory Readings. The cafe

WEDNESDAY

Get jazzy. UC Irvine’s Jazz Orchestra will perform at 8 p.m. at the

Irvine Barclay Theatre, 4242 Campus Drive, Irvine. Guest artist Barbara
