AYSO Region 120 Soccer: Costa Mesa one-ups Mission Viejo, 1-0

IRVINE -

After a disappointing start, the Costa Mesa boys 14 and younger team

from AYSO Region 120 bettered itself with a 1-0 victory over Mission

Viejo in its final game of the Irvine Memorial Tournament.

Mission Viejo had defeated both teams Costa Mesa lost to in the

tournament.

Versatile forwards and midfielders with footspeed and touch for Costa

Mesa included Brian Henriquez, Luis Andrade, Rigo Miranda, Jose Perez,

Marc Nutter, Alberto Nava, Gerardo Delgado, Kenneth Zich and Marco Soto.

Rock solid defense that helped hold Mission Viejo scoreless was

provided by Ryan Pfautz, Sean Engman, Caleb Burgess and Ernesto

Castanada, along with goalkeeper Luis Zelaya.
