Students show off creative work

Students at Top of the World Elementary School revealed a mosaic mural

on May 29. The mural was created by four third-grade classes with the

help of Laguna Outreach Community Arts resource artist, Sherry Bullard.

It featured hundreds of flowers in a cobalt blue background.

The project was one of several that LOCA has been participating in

with area schools throughout the year. It had advance placement classes

at the high school and a curriculum tie-in program at El Morro Elementary

School.

LOCA is supported in part by city grants and the Festival of the Arts.
