Conference title and a second-place finish in the state tournament. The

Pirates finished 24-3, 13-1 in conference play.

will enter his 11th season as the Pirates’ coach in the fall. He was also

selected as the OEC Coach of the Year for men’s and women’s volleyball.

the OCC men’s volleyball squad to a second straight OEC title and a

second-place finish in state.

coach of the year. Brummel’s squad won the state championship, after

claiming its second consecutive conference title. His point guard, Utah

State-bound Mark Brown, won the county’s male athlete of the year honor.
