Group honors water district manager

Diana Leach, general manager at Mesa Consolidated Water District, was

recognized for her outstanding leadership capabilities Thursday by a

community organization.

Leach received the Excellence in Leadership Award from Leadership

Tomorrow, an organization designed to develop leadership by introducing

participants to the leaders in the community.

Leach, who serves on the board of Leadership Tomorrow, said the award

came as a surprise. She also said she was flattered and thanked the Mesa

Consolidated Water District board for allowing her to serve the

community.

Leadership Tomorrow officials said they awarded Leach for her

dedication in leadership, service to the organization and her position in

the community.
