The South Coast YMCA is looking for volunteers to help with the 24th
annual “Run In the Parks” event. Volunteers are needed in the following
areas: course marshals, finish line, packet pick up, water sation,

Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach provides sports, homework, arts and
crafts and mentoring services for children of all ages. Information: Kim

Bridge Learning Center for Homeless Children, Inc. is seeking mento1rs
to talk to children living in this transitional shelter to improve their
self-esteem according to President Howard Levin. Mentors work for one
hour a week at the shelter, need to be 16 years or older and be able to

Designing Women need volunteers to sign up for next year’s Color It

Friends of the Sea Lion Marine Mammal Center needs volunteers to work
as docents or in animal care for all days all shifts. Shifts are a
minimum of four hours in the morning or afternoon and require a one-year

Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce welcomes volunteers to help with
administrative tasks and organize events and fund-raisers. Information:

Laguna Greenbelt, Inc. is always happy to welcome volunteers to work
in a variety of capacities in the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.
Opportunities include giving tours, producing the newsletter and give

The Laguna Beach Animal Shelter is looking for volunteers 18 years and
older who are willing to do all kinds of tasks. They require a four-hour
per week commitment and hold a monthly orientation meeting for
prospective volunteers. There are also volunteer opportunities for high
school students who want to fulfill their community service hours.

Book Shop, open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., staying
