WEATHER FORECAST
The morning marine layer may bring us some light drizzle today. But
the low clouds will burn off early this afternoon everywhere but along
the coast. So, it may not be the best day to hit the beach. Highs will
only be in the low 70s in Costa Mesa and the mid-60s in Newport Beach,
while lows will be in the upper 50s.
We’ll see much of the same Friday, but it should warm up this weekend
into the mid-70s in Costa Mesa and upper 60s in Newport Beach.

BOATING FORECAST
Fog will be found early and late. The westerly winds will blow 10 to
15 knots in the inner waters today, with 2-foot waves and southwest swell
of 3 feet.
Out farther, a small-craft advisory will be issued as the
northwesterly winds will blow 15 to 25 knots, with combined seas of 8 to
10 feet.
SURF
We’ll be on the small side today, with mostly knee- to waist-highs,
but we should pick up into the chest-high range on Friday as the latest
southwest swells build.
